They came with the idea of bringing Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. to the University. These seven men were:

Robert Herard
Destine (De) Cajuste
Joseph Reid
Hollis (Devon) Jackson
Alain LaRoche
These seven young men who were inspired by the Fraternity motto of “Building a Tradition, Not Resting upon One,” decided to undertake the process to become men of Iota. Determined to start there mission, they begin working hard to up hold the fraternity's principles of Scholarship, Brotherhood, Fidelity, Citizenship and Leadership.
